I am thrilled to welcome another of my favourite bloggers to damppebbles today, the lovely Lynne LeGrow of Fictionophile. Lynne has very kindly agreed to share her three recommended reads with us as part of #R3COMM3ND3D2017.
#R3COMM3ND3D2017 is where I invite authors and book bloggers to share three must- read titles from 2017. The book must have been published in 2017 – that’s the only rule.
Here are Lynne’s three recommendations…
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
With a strong and memorable protagonist this book made me laugh and cry.
The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg
Touching on the themes of loneliness, friendship, and aging, this literary fiction novel had a memorable protagonist and a sweet story.
Dead Woman Walking by Sharon Bolton
A unique and cleverly plotted crime thriller that incorporated a relevant modern issue with some unscrupulous criminals. Plot twists abound.

Thank you so much for your recommendations, Lynne. I have ‘Dead Woman Walking’ on the TBR which I hope to get to very soon.
If Lynne has managed to tempt you with her recommendations, or if you would like to find out more about the books she has chosen, please click the amazon.co.uk links below:

Join me again tomorrow when I welcome book blogger Jessica Page Johnson of Jessica’s Reading Room to damppebbles with her #R3COMM3ND3D2017 reads!
Lovely recommendations. I read Eleanor and I understand completely why this made the list.. I was very curious to see the other two recs :-). I still have Dead Man Walking to read so I’m happy I already have that one to look forward to! Can I still join or are you full? I have decided on 2 recs of my own by now, just one difficult last choice 😉
