Welcome, dear book friends, to the sixth day of #R3COMM3ND3D2018. Today I am delighted to welcome the first author of the year to the feature and that author is Miles M. Hudson. Miles published his latest novel, 2089, in September by Unbound. If you’re a fan of dystopian novels then I suggest you give it a look. I’m a die-hard crime fan myself but it sounds really interesting. I’ll include the blurb and cover later on so you can have a look-see.
If you’re new to #R3COMM3ND3D2018 then where have you been? #R3COMM3ND3D2018 is where I invite booky people to choose three must read titles and then shout about them to the rest of us. The only proviso being all three books must have been published in 2018.
Here are the books Miles chose…
Vicious Rumer by Joshua Winning
Despite being subject matter I wouldn’t normally read, the story just hammer blows you along with it!

A Murder to Die For by Stevyn Colgan
Just finished it – very humorous parody of classic whodunits.
Sour Fruit by Eli Allison (The INC Trilogy #1)
It’s difficult to pin down exactly what I liked. Maybe read my review!

About 2089:

Everything that people see and hear is detected and this is published publicly online; nothing can be secret. It is the ultimate surveillance society. Jack Smith blows up the old GCHQ building in Cheltenham, destroying the surveillance computers. He goes on the run across post-apocalyptic Gloucestershire, with old friend Vicky Truva.
