Hello and happy Monday! We’re only two days into this year’s #R3COMM3ND3D and I’m flipping loving it already! I hope you are too. Today I am delighted to welcome another fabulous book blogger to share the book love with us, it’s Zoé from the brilliant Zooloo’s Book Diary. I love Zoé’s blog – particularly as she’s another horror fan (but you’ll have to wait and see if any horror titles have made it into her #R3COMM3ND3D2020 picks!). I highly recommend following her blog if you don’t already! 😍
So, what is #R3COMM3ND3D2020? It’s about sharing the book love. It’s a chance for authors, book bloggers and bookstagrammers to shout about three (yes, *only* three) books they love. They can be written by any author, in any genre and published in any way (traditionally, indie press or self-published). But there is a catch. All three books must have been published in 2020. To make things interesting I have added a couple of teeny, tiny rules this year which are; 1) the book must have first been published in 2020 and 2) special editions and reissues do not count. I like to keep you lovely people on your toes. 😉
Let’s find out which three books Zoé has chosen…
The Ex-Boyfriend by Rona Halsall
This is one hell of a crazy and shocking journey. Most definitely Rona’s best book to date. She has completely upped the ante here. As a mother it put me on edge as a reader I was excited and astounded to see where the journey would take me. I lose myself in one Rona’s books for sure!
Zoé’s Review of The Ex-Boyfriend
Murder Ahoy (The Bella Tyson Mysteries #2) by Fiona Leitch
I had to include this book! I adore Bella and this is book 2 in her series. She is a no nonsense straight talking crime writing author who always gets into bother. I love the whole element of a cruise. Plus when you have the author constantly apologising for your character in it, you know it’s a winner! It is a series I hope will keep on and on. Even though it’s crime there is a lot of laughs and swearing and just a jolly time!
Zoé’s Review of Murder Ahoy
The Other People by C.J. Tudor
What a journey this was! I did not know where we would go and what is more terrifying than driving on a motorway and seeing your daughter in the back of car! A car you don’t know! I mean holy frogs. This book gave me a lot of chills and Ms Tudor does what she does best here, she will make you read a book that does not let go of you!
Zoé’s Review of The Other People
Thanks so much, Zoé. I’ve read (and loved!) one of your choices. The other two are going straight on the terrifying TBR!

About Zoé:
I never know what to write! Crazy cat/child/football/reading/movie geek lady! Live by the sea, am originally a townie. Still buying more books that I shouldn’t be and still not reading the ones I should be! Zooloo is my nickname but will answer to most things. Enough now about me!
