#R3COMM3ND3D2020 with #BookBlogger Kimberly (@MyBookishBliss) #MyBookishBliss #damppebbles #BookRecommendations #publishedin2020

Hello my bookish lovelies and welcome to a brand new day of #R3COMM3ND3D delights. Today I am thrilled to welcome a blogger I discovered towards the end of last year, it’s the fabulous Kimberly of My Bookish Bliss. If you don’t already, make sure you give her blog a follow. You won’t regret it.

So, what is #R3COMM3ND3D2020? It’s about sharing the book love. It’s a chance for authors, book bloggers and bookstagrammers to shout about three (yes, *only* three) books they love. They can be written by any author, in any genre and published in any way (traditionally, indie press or self-published). But there is a catch. All three books must have been published in 2020. To make things interesting I have added a couple of teeny, tiny rules this year which are; 1) the book must have first been published in 2020 and 2) special editions and reissues do not count. I like to keep you lovely people on your toes. πŸ˜‰

Let’s find out which three books Kimberly recommends…

R3C20 buried in my past

Buried in My Past (Jamie Kendal #1) by Eva Mackenzie
The mystery and suspense are out of this world. I never knew which way the clues would lead and that made it even more thrilling.

R3C20 The Beast and the Bethany

The Beast and the Bethany by Jack Meggitt-Phillips & Isabelle Follath
This middle grade book will knock your socks off!! Full of intrigue and a beast with some very bizarre food cravings. This book is sweet and horrifying all at once.

R3C20 Gobbledy A novel

Gobbledy: A Novel by Lis Anna-Langston
What do you get when you mix a spy prodigy, a kid who can’t stay out of trouble, and his kid brother trying to save the day? A trio of middle grade sleuths is what! When the kids find an alien landing in the woods near their house, all sorts of strange and dangerous things happen.
