#TopTenTuesday | 17th June 2025: Books on My Summer 2025 To-Read List #Top10Tuesday #bookblogger #bookish #amreading #TTT #BookTwitter #booktwt #BookX #BookSky #damppebbles

Hello and a very warm welcome to damppebbles. It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post. I’ve decided to take part in That Artsy Reader Girl’s Top Ten Tuesday meme to mix things up a little here at damppebbles. Add a little bit of variety to our bookish weeks.

The meme was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish but has lived with Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl since January 2018. It was created to encompass a love of books, of lists and to bring readers together. If you would also like to take part then you’re very welcome: the more, the merrier. Just make sure you link back to Jana’s post every week. If you don’t have a blog then no problem, just add your list to the comments below.

This week’s theme is Books on My Summer 2025 To-Read List. I’m taking part in the 20 Books of Summer Challenge again this year (new hosts but still the most relaxed easy-going challenge out there!) so I have actually already shared my planned reading for the Summer. However, you may not have seen that. Unashamedly I’m always one for taking the easy path and I do feel I’ve veered off-topic quite a lot so far this year. So with that in mind, I’m going to run with my Summer to-read list. New and exiting content? Pah! Now who REALLY wants that?? 😂🤣

1. The Stranger in Room Six by Jane Corry

2. We Solve Murders by Richard Osman

3. The Wasp Trap by Mark Edwards

4. The Compound by Aisling Rawle

5. The Outback by Sara Ochs

6. The Final Vow by M.W. Craven
I don’t actually have this book, nor access to a copy of it at the time of writing this post. Publishes in mid-August though so there’s plenty of time to read it before the end of the Summer 😬

7. The Night I Killed Him by Gill Perdue

8. 59 Minutes by Holly Seddon

9. Butter by Asako Yuzuki
Oh this book! It appears on every TBR list, every challenge list and I still haven’t read it. I’m determined to get it read this Summer.

10. Broken Girls by Joy Kluver

The first eight have either just been published or are due to be published soon. The last two are my own copies. An easy list to compile this week all thanks to the 20 Books of Summer Challenge. If you’d like to sign up for the challenge (I’m not on commission, I promise!) then please see my sign-up post HERE which includes a link to Annabel’s initial post.

Are you looking forward to reading any of these books? What’s on your Summer to-read list? Do we have any books in common? Are you taking part in Top Ten Tuesday this week? Let me know in the comments.

So there we have it! If you fancy joining in next week then head on over to That Artsy Reader Girl’s blog to find out what the next topic is!

  1. Oooh, these ALL look good and I’d only heard of a few of them. My poor, already-overwhelming TBR list is getting some new adds 🙂 WE SOLVE MURDERS is a fantastic read. It was one of my favorites from last year and I am *anxiously* awaiting a sequel. I hope you love it and all these others.

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
