Hello and a very warm welcome to damppebbles. It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post. I’ve decided to take part in That Artsy Reader Girl’s Top Ten Tuesday meme to mix things up a little here at damppebbles. Add a little bit of variety to our bookish weeks.

The meme was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish but has lived with Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl since January 2018. It was created to encompass a love of books, of lists and to bring readers together. If you would also like to take part then you’re very welcome: the more, the merrier. This week’s theme is Books I Want to Read by New to Me Authors (share books from your to-read list that are written by authors you’ve never read before). I really enjoy finding new to me authors who fast become firm favourites, moving themselves from the ‘never read before’ list to the ‘must read everything this person has ever written’ list. However, I think I’ve become less adventurous over the years. I’m more cautious now. I know what I like and for that reason, I tend to stick to what I know. Sad but true. Am I the only one? Even with that in mind though, I don’t think this list is going to cause me any problems, as my shelves and my Kindle are all overflowing with bookish loveliness. Let’s see how we get on…

2. Wanderers by Chuck Wendig
I have so many books by this author on my TBR and I haven’t read a single one. What is wrong with me?! 🙈

3. The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
I probably should have read this a while ago.

4. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
Not my usual genre of book but the hype got me! Am I missing out by not having read this book?

5. Such Quiet Girls by Noelle W. Ihli
Shortlisted by the CWA, this author and their books should be bumped up the TBR.

6. Coffin Moon by Keith Rosson
A hugely popular book that I own but still haven’t read.

7. Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker
There’s this and Japanese Gothic by the same author which I really like the look of (although the US cover of Gothic is so much better than the UK version).

8. The Lamb by Lucy Rose
Another BIG horror book where I could not ignore the hype. Now I just need the time to read them all…

9. This Book Kills by Ravena Guron
I have a copy of this, my daughter has a copy of this and neither of us have read it. Yet! Looking forward to it though. I think it’s been a while since I last read a YA novel.

10. Blacktop Wasteland by S.A. Cosby
I think I’ve mentioned in the past how I can’t quite believe how I have not managed to read anything by this author yet. He’s a crime/thriller master and to date, I haven’t picked up a single book by Cosby.
