Hello and a very warm welcome to damppebbles. It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post. I’ve decided to take part in That Artsy Reader Girl’s Top Ten Tuesday meme to mix things up a little here at damppebbles. Add a little bit of variety to our bookish weeks.

The meme was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish but has lived with Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl since January 2018. Interestingly, (or maybe not!), I’ve never read a Harlan Coben book but I queued up to meet him to get a signed copy of his book for a lovely blogger friend. No idea why I’ve never read him before.

To be fair to Mark, he’d been performing with the Fun Loving Crime Writers the night before and had no voice. He’d also had a few Tizers, and it was ridiculously early on a Sunday morning. Taking a photo with me was probably the last thing he wanted to do. But he was very gracious.

10. Peter Swanson & M.W. Craven (along with the lovely Jo from My Chestnut Reading Tree)
This is my favourite author photo. We’d all had a few drinks when we found out Peter Swanson was at the festival. I’d been sitting chatting with M.W. Craven at the time and his agent David Headley (thanks David for the heads up!) so we all piled upon poor Peter for a photo. This was a priceless moment for me and I absolutely treasure this photo with two of my all-time favourite authors.

I have more. Thanks to crime festivals I’ve met some really lovely authors over the years. Plus, now I work in a library, we often have authors visit us for events and whatnot! I’ve also met some authors I wouldn’t hurry to meet again, nor would I read their books. But that’s a list for another time…😉 Have you met any of the authors on my list? Have you read their books?
