#R3COMM3ND3D2018 with #BookBlogger Hazel Jackson (@teaandcakesoul) #TeaandCakefortheSoul

Happy Friday bookish friends!  Delighted to welcome you to day two of #R3COMM3ND3D2018.  Today’s willing volunteer is Hazel Jackson of the fabulous Tea & Cake for the Soul, an informative lifestyle blog covering a wide range of fascinating subjects (including book reviews, of course!).  If you’re looking for a spot of quiet ‘you’ time then grab a cup of tea, sit back and enjoy Hazel’s posts.

Hazel joins me today to share her three #R3COMM3ND3D2018 reads.  #R3COMM3ND3D2018 is where I ask bookish folk to share three must-read titles.  There’s a catch though.  All three titles must have been published this year.  Any genre, any title providing it was published in the last 12 months.

Here are Hazel’s choices…

Can’t Get You Out of My Head by Sue Shepherd
Wow! There is so much I want to say about this book, but so little I can say without giving any spoilers. I was intrigued by the storyline having a fascination with twins anyway but this is one unique relationship.

Sunshine at the Comfort Food Cafe by Debbie Johnson
Fourth in a series I’ve discovered and loved. Wonderful characters, a beautiful setting served with lots of comfort food.

The Happiness List by Annie Lyons
I’ve chosen the Happiness List to be in my top books this year as it’s got everything – humour, a bit of sadness, compassion and a lesson to take away with you. The characters are all extremely likeable and you just wanted to be part of the gang.

Thanks so much for your recommendations, Hazel. I spend 100% of my time with my head in crime fiction so it’s great to feature a number of ‘murder-less’ reads on damppebbles!
