Hello and a very warm welcome to damppebbles. It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post. I’ve decided to take part in That Artsy Reader Girl’s Top Ten Tuesday meme to mix things up a little here at damppebbles. Add a little bit of variety to our bookish weeks.

This week’s theme is a Cover Freebie so I have free rein to create a list based on my own personal whims, yay! I’ve decided to go with Ten Covers I Would Frame as Artwork because a lot of work goes into cover design and despite what we all say, they do influence us. We pretty much ALL judge a book by its cover to some degree. Here goes…

Reading the darker side of fiction could only result in the covers selected having a darker edge to them, so I’m not surprised by the tone of this list, are you?! 😂 These are all great books. A couple of them, I’ve selected the hardback edition of the cover rather than the paperback. I do sometimes feel that hardbacks can be a little more daring/interesting with their designs while the paperbacks have to have broader appeal. What do you think? Have you read any of these books?
